I hope your Golden Week is going well, and the holidays have been fruitful. We are now on special hours of Club operation, but I’m happy to share that the number of membership applications is rising, which is a tribute to our great events and committees that were well represented at the March General Membership Meeting. This Board of Directors has less than two months left in our tenure before the next election, but there is still much to do and opportunities for all. I hope many of you will consider running for office and contributing to the Club in a leadership role when elections are held in June.

Bok-koku: The brush is a sword. The ink is its strokes.
Artwork by Hara Kenryo and Bok-koku Artists
May 31 - June 27, 2025
June's exhibition welcomes the amazing world of "Bok-koku" - where ancient art meets a modern interpretation. Bok-koku artists use giant 'fude' brushes and unique ‘Sumi’ ink to paint works of art based on characters that date back 3100 years to the Yin Dynasty.
Mr. Hara Kenryo, who presides over this art collective, says, "These artworks are historical legacies that transcend time and space and serve as keys to explore the essence of human life and the artist's own human nature."
